The development of Africa's renewable energy industry is accelerating
Recently, a research team from the University of Oxford issued a report stating that in the next 10 years, the demand for electricity on the African continent is expected to double, thereby promoting the accelerated development of the Complete Set Of Solar System renewable energy industry throughout Africa.

According to the report, by 2030, fossil fuel power generation will still be the main source of electricity in Africa, and it will still account for 60% of the total power generation in the region. However, as African countries and related energy companies continue to promote the development of renewable energy power projects, renewable energy power generation in Africa will usher in a new round of rapid development.
Galina Alova, the first author of this research report and a researcher at the Smith School of Business and Environment at Oxford University, said: "In recent years, with the development of the economy, the level of electrification in Africa has continued to increase, and the demand for electricity has continued to increase significantly. These are all for the development of Africa. The renewable energy industry provides a lot of good opportunities."
Alova believes that Africa can make use of its abundant renewable energy resources, coupled with the current declining cost of renewable energy power generation such as wind power and photovoltaics, which will bring the development of renewable energy power in the region to a new level.

According to the research report, there are regional differences in the development of renewable energy power in Africa. Among them, South Africa, the region's main economy, is in a leading position. Taking solar power as an example, the report predicts that by 2030, South Africa will cover 40% of Africa’s new solar power generation capacity.
According to a report by Africa Oil & Power, an investment analysis agency in the energy sector in Africa, although South Africa still relies on coal for 80% of its electricity demand, the country not only has a very advanced renewable energy power project—renewable energy independent power generator procurement project, It also set a goal of "25% of renewable energy power by 2030".
