120MW! Canada will build the world's largest airport photovoltaic power plant!
Edmonton International Airport is an international airport serving Edmonton and surrounding areas in Alberta, Canada. It is currently preparing a new large-scale investment to create the world's largest solar panel system price for home canada airport photovoltaic power plant. The agreement with Alpin Sun will enable the company to develop a 627-acre, 120-megawatt solar power plant.

The European company Alpin Sun is a global developer of utility-scale renewable energy projects and proposes to place the airport photovoltaic power plant on land leased on the west side of Edmonton International Airport.
The power station is expected to begin construction in early 2022 and begin operation at the end of the year. The project will bring about US$169 million in foreign direct investment to the Edmonton metropolitan area. The electricity generated by the photovoltaic power plant will be fed into Alberta Fortis and airport distribution systems.
