Australia's New South Wales plans to start 8GW renewable energy project
The Government of New South Wales, Australia stated that with the launch of the 3GW Midwest Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) open pilot 5kw solar system price for homes project for solar, wind and energy storage, 27GW of interest was drawn from the project’s letter of intent; the New South Wales State Government expressed its closeness Following this, 8GW of capacity will be issued in the New England Renewable Energy Zone (REZ).

It is reported that the New South Wales State Government has developed a long-term renewable energy plan to build three renewable energy zones in the Midwest, New England and Southwest regions of the state. New South Wales Energy Minister Matt Kean said it would be the cheapest and largest clean energy project in the history of the state.
This time, New England REZ plans to invest 79 million Australian dollars (55 million U.S. dollars) for development. It is expected to attract 12.7 billion Australian dollars (9 million U.S. dollars) of investment and create 2,000 construction jobs and 1,300 continuous jobs. The New England REZ will be built in stages, and the delivery schedule will be formulated throughout the detailed planning process.

Energy Minister Matt Kean said: "The developer’s interest in the Midwest (REZ) project has reached 9 times, which is amazing. It is absolutely meaningful to withdraw from the New England REZ to go hand in hand with it. The state will become Australia's largest destination for renewable energy investment." He said that after the completion of the New England REZ, it will be able to power 3.5 million households.
