Masdar, one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies, has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Singapore’s Tuas Power, France’s EDF Renewables and PT Indonesia Power to explore renewable energy in Indonesia. energy development and export it to Singapore.

The agreement will develop solar PV facilities with a capacity of up to 1.2GW and potential associated storage. Singapore hopes to import up to 4GW of low-carbon electricity by 2035, which will account for 35% of its total supply.
