Kuwait will integrate multiple photovoltaic power plant renewable energy project

    On January 5, it was reported that, entrusted by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, the Kuwait Cooperation Projects Authority will be responsible for the integration of the Kuwait Dib Dubai photovoltaic power plant project that was cancelled a few months ago with the Shagaya Solar Phase III project. The administration will soon invite some consulting companies to bid for Solar Power In House project integration and economic feasibility analysis.

    Kuwait’s Dib Dubai photovoltaic power plant project, which was originally designed to generate 1,500 megawatts, was cancelled by the Kuwaiti government in July last year. Shagaya Renewable Energy Park is located 100 kilometers west of Kuwait City. The park covers an area of 84 square kilometers and brings together multiple renewable energy projects in Kuwait.
