Portugal launches 10 million euros tender for agricultural photovoltaic projects
The Portuguese Ministry of Agriculture has launched a 10 million euro initiative to select innovative Solar Power For House photovoltaic projects that are integrated with agricultural activities.
The ministry stated that these funds will be used to support innovative agricultural photovoltaic projects, which can cover up to 70% of the project's initial cost. And give priority to vulnerable areas and underdeveloped mountainous areas. The subsidy amount ranges from 700 Euros to 35,000 Euros.
The Minister of Agriculture Maria do Céu Antunes stated that the purpose of this move is to improve the sustainability, innovation and profitability of this sector.
The deadline for submitting project proposals is July 14.
