The National Energy and Public Service Supervision Commission of Ukraine has set new electricity prices for photovoltaic and wind power plants in accordance with the new law. The electricity price of solar panel cost photovoltaic power plants depends on the date of commissioning of the plant: the electricity price of a batch of power plants that were put into operation in the early stage was 7.37 hryvnia/kWh, the electricity price of the power plants that were recently put into operation was 3.29 hryvnia/kWh, and the electricity price of the remaining photovoltaic power plants was 3.83 Hryvnia/kWh. The electricity price of photovoltaic power plants installed on the outer walls and roofs of buildings that were put into production after June 30, 2015 is 4.54 hryvnia/kWh.


The electricity price for wind power plants is 2.82 hryvnia/kWh and 3.39 hryvnia/kWh.
According to data from the National Energy and Public Service Supervision Commission of Ukraine, 780 companies in Ukraine have photovoltaic power plants and 27 companies have wind power plants.

Previously, the Parliament passed laws to reduce the electricity price of photovoltaic power plants by 15% and the electricity price of wind power plants by 7.5%.
