According to data provided by the Polish transmission system operator PSE, as of August 1, 2020, the installed on grid solar system solar photovoltaic capacity in Poland has increased from 882.6 MW a year ago to 2261 MW, and the country’s new installed solar capacity reached 150 MW in July alone. .
The increase in solar installed capacity in Poland is mainly due to the increase in miniature installed capacity such as rooftop solar systems. The latest report of the Polish Energy Administration (ERO) shows that as of June 30, the total installed capacity of large-scale solar power plants in Poland was only 708MW.
As of the end of June 2020, the total installed capacity of Poland's large-scale renewable energy (including hydropower) power stations reached 9475MW
