Falk and Eni will build a solar power plant in Virginia

     According to news from Anadolu News on November 18, Italy's Eni announced in a statement on Tuesday that Falk Renewable Energy North America and Eni New Energy America have entered into partnership with Novus Renewable Energy. Savien signed an agreement to acquire the 30 MW solar energy system Westmoreland Solar Project, which is to be built in Westmoreland County, Virginia, USA.

     The statement said: "Development, construction and transaction costs are estimated to total 35 million US dollars."

     The commercial operation of the project is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2021.

      According to the statement, once certain conditions are met, Novus will acquire the project at the end of November and will provide safe harbor panels, arrange financing and perform construction management for the project.

     The project will provide local utility companies with carbon-free solar energy, provide consumers and industries with decades of services, and reduce more than 33,000 tons of carbon dioxide each year.
