According to reports, the Kenyan government will cooperate with the World Bank to develop off-grid solar power backup system. The project will invest 15 billion shillings to improve energy access in 14 counties. The project is part of the national power strategy formulated by the Kenyan government in 2018. Kenya aims to achieve full coverage of power access by 2030. Kenyan President Kenyatta stated that Kenya’s off-grid solar power backup system project will benefit 250,000 households and 800 public places. Since 2009, Kenya has sold 6.2 million sets of solar power backup system. From 2016 to 2018, Kenya has a total of 1,400 Ten thousand people have improved their electricity conditions through off-grid solar power backup system. Henry is one of the home users.
Henry plans to buy an off-grid complete solar system to power the LED lights, fans and refrigerators in his home. Kingwen, a sales engineer who has served thousands of customers in Mars Solar, recommended a 1500W complete solar system for him. This complete solar system includes solar panels, combiner boxes, solar controllers, off-grid inverters, batteries, solar panel brackets and connecting wires. Among them, the solar panels use A-grade Suntech raw materials with a conversion efficiency of 21%. The off-grid inverter has a built-in high-efficiency transformer, using American IR materials. The battery adopts German technology and has a service life of 6-8 years.

Henry studied electrician knowledge in school for a year, and with the knowledge and support of Kingwen and Mars Solar technical team, he completed the installation of this complete solar system.
