South Africa: plans to start a 2.6GW wind power and photovoltaic bidding project

According to a report on the South African independent media website on November 1, South Africa’s Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy Mantashe stated that the department plans to launch the sixth bid window of the Renewable Energy Independent Power Generation Procurement Program (REIPPPP) before January 2022.
