At present, the total capacity of local photovoltaic facilities is 2600 MW, which accounts for 1.5% of the energy structure. Luons Eduardo Barata, general manager of ONS, said that by the end of this year, the country's centralized power station capacity is expected to reach 3,000 MW.

He pointed out that a hybrid power system project combining solar, wind and battery energy storage has not yet been implemented in the country, but this situation will change in the near future.
