India to build 4GW solar cell and module plant

    Tata Power was one of the first companies to open a solar factory in India. In 2021, the company will set up a monocrystalline silicon cell production line at its existing manufacturing facility in Bangalore, Karnataka, with a production capacity of 635MW of modules and 500MW of cells.
