Mozambique to build 4 photovoltaic power plants

    Mozambique News Agency reported on June 23 that the Mozambique National Electricity Company and the World Bank International Finance Corporation (IFC) recently signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to jointly promote the construction of four Off Grid Solar Generator For Sale solar photovoltaic power plants in Mozambique.

    It is reported that the total installed capacity of the four photovoltaic power plants will reach 500,000 kilowatts, and IFC will provide relevant financing services. Currently, 43% of Mozambique's population has access to electricity services, and the Mozambican government plans to cover 70% of the country's population by 2030.
