Swiss utility company Axpo Holding AG said on Friday that its subsidiary Urbasolar will 3kw off grid power systems price build 37 new solar power plants in France.
These power plants will be built mainly in southern France, with a total installed capacity of 143 megawatts, enough to cover the annual electricity consumption of 65,000 households.
Axpo said in a statement that the cost of 124 million euros ($144 million) will be funded by Crédit Agricole, Unifergie, a subsidiary specializing in renewable energy projects, and regional banks.
The company added that the first batch of factories has been built and recently connected to the grid.
