Ukraine invests 520 million euros in the construction of household photovoltaics
The Ukrainian News Agency quoted the National Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation Agency on July 21 that 25,600 households 3kw home solar system price in Ukraine invested a total of 520 million euros to build household photovoltaics.

According to the news, as of July 1, 2020, a total of 25,600 households have installed solar energy to use green power, with a total investment of more than 520 million euros and a total photovoltaic capacity of 658 MW. Nearly 1,500 homes installed photovoltaic modules in the second quarter of 2020.
Dnepropetrovsk Oblast has the most solar installations (nearly 3,500 households), followed by Ternopil Oblast (more than 2,200 households), Kiev Oblast (more than 2,000 households), and Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast (More than 1,900 households) and Transkarpathian Prefecture (nearly 1,600 households).

Shafalenko, deputy director of the National Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation Administration, pointed out that household solar energy can be used to directly use electricity at the production site, helping to reduce losses in the power transmission process. Another major advantage of photovoltaic power plants is to encourage owners to pay attention to electricity consumption, change electricity usage habits, take energy-saving measures, and use smart technologies.
