Ethiopia will launch a batch of solar electricity supply system projects with a cumulative installed capacity of over 5000 megawatts. The government will also provide a certain degree of subsidies for solar electricity supply system projects to further encourage the development of solar electricity supply systems. The investment and construction of these solar electricity supply system projects can not only meet domestic electricity demand, but also enable Ethiopia to develop into a solar electricity supply system hub in East Africa.

In such a boom, Jan had the idea of installing a solar generator for house in Ethiopia. This solar generator for house will power the two air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, TVs, stereos and other household appliances in Jan's home. After discussing with Mars Solar's engineers with 10 years of experience, the final solar generator for home plan was determined. While the Ethiopian government vigorously develops solar generator for home,it is also strictly controlling the quality of solar generator for home imported from China. Solar energy systems sold to Ethiopia must pass PVOC certification before they can obtain approval to enter the Ethiopian market. Mars Solar's solar panels use A-level Suntech solar cells with a conversion efficiency of 21%. Japanese IGBT materials are used for off-grid inverters. We are the first factory to apply IGBT technology to single-phase inverters. The battery used in the solar energy system adopts German technology and production standards, which is efficient and durable. Therefore, Mars Solar provided SGS with standard products and test reports. After SGS testing, it obtained PVOC certification and obtained the permission to enter the Ethiopian market.
