Jordan's renewable energy investment exceeds $ 5 billion

    Jordan has successfully expanded its use and production of solar system price jordan and has managed to attract more than $ 5 billion in investment.

    Official Jordanian statistics show that since 2014, the legislative and regulatory environment for renewable energy in Jordan has improved year by year, successfully attracting a large number of foreign investments in clean energy and energy efficiency in Jordan, and many solar and wind energy projects have been developed, generating 1,500 MW, accounting for 15% of Jordan's total electricity generation.
 

    It is expected that by 2021, clean energy generation will account for 20% of Jordan's total power generation, compared with 1% in 2014. In terms of the legislative environment and business activities in the renewable energy sector, Jordan ranks first in the Middle East and North Africa region and third in the world.

    It is understood that the Jordanian government has focused on new technologies, energy storage technologies and projects in the 2020-2021 energy action plan.
