Future energy projects in Brazil focus on photovoltaic power

    According to documents issued by the Electricity and Energy Research Institute affiliated with the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy, the total installed capacity of Brazil's 1,528 energy bidding projects will reach 51,438 MW in the next four years, and its project focus will be on solar system Brazil power.

    Among 1,528 projects, 794 were photovoltaic power generation projects, accounting for 55.0%, and the total installed capacity was 28.667 million MW. In addition, there are 54 new hydropower projects with a total installed capacity of 177 MW. There are 21 thermal power station construction projects with a total installed capacity of 1,145 MW.

    According to regional statistics, there are 481 new electric energy bidding projects in Bahia, with a total installed capacity of 14,801 million megawatts, of which 281 are wind power projects and 200 are photovoltaic power projects. There are 251 Rio Grande do Norte states with a total installed capacity of 8,673 MW, of which 131 are wind power projects and 120 are photovoltaic power projects.
