Venezuela promotes the development of domestic photovoltaic industry

Ma said that the Ministry of Electricity plans to develop photovoltaic projects on the roofs of administrative agencies, as well as remote, indigenous and border communities, with the aim of promoting and stimulating domestic solar panel production and promoting the industrialization of photovoltaics nationwide. Ma emphasized that the Ministry of Electricity is committed to promoting the diversified development of the country's power supply. It intends to refine the solar and photovoltaic industry development plans during the term of the government from 2021 to 2025, and cooperate with the Indian ISA to implement related projects. The Ministry of Electricity hopes to improve Venezuela's domestic electricity services through the development of alternative energy sources to ensure the stability and reliability of electricity supply.
