Japan builds a solar-powered parking lot that can accommodate 1,200 vehicles
Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a well-known Japanese manufacturer of electronic components, has built the largest solar off grid solar system cost parking lot in Japan in Seto City, Okayama Prefecture, Japan.

The solar car park can accommodate 1,200 vehicles at the same time, and the ownership belongs to the Okayama branch of Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The parking lot is equipped with a solar power panel that is different from the ordinary power panel that can only generate electricity on one side. Not only the side facing the sun can be used to generate electricity, but the side facing away from the sun can also absorb the reflected light from the parked vehicles and the ground to absorb energy .

It is understood that the parking lot can generate electricity for more than 600 households each year, reducing about 1698 tons of carbon dioxide. Murata Manufacturing's Okayama branch plans to build a solar parking lot that can accommodate 500 vehicles by 2021, and it is expected to increase the power generation of the entire solar power generation system by 1.5 times.
