The project is located in the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai, UAE, covering a total area of 10.17 square kilometers. The construction will be implemented in three phases, of which 300 MW Electricity From Solar photovoltaic and supporting 132 kV will be built in the first phase Boost station. Zhejiang Thermal Power is mainly responsible for the 900 MW photovoltaic installation and booster station of the project. After the project is completed, it will be able to meet the electricity demand of 270,000 households in Dubai and reduce 1.18 million tons of carbon emissions each year.
There are a total of 9 main transformers in the fifth phase of the Dubai photovoltaic project. The three main transformers installed this time are 6.8 meters in length, 2 meters in width, 3.9 meters in height and 68 tons in weight. During the construction process, Zhejiang Thermal Power planned in advance, carefully checked the installation and civil engineering foundation drawings, re-measured and inspected the elevation and center line in advance, formulated a detailed placement plan, and conducted safety technical clarifications for all construction personnel. The installation of three transformers is completed.
