The cumulative scale of photovoltaics in Chile is 4.6 million kilowatts
According to the industry media "PV Magazine", Chile's energy regulator CNE has issued a new tender recently, Chile's national power company intends to purchase green power from clean Complete Solar Systems energy power supply companies.

It is reported that the above-mentioned bidding project is expected to be officially implemented in 2027, and the Chilean national power company will purchase a total of 5.25 million kWh of renewable energy power from enterprises in the next 15 years. Starting from April 1 this year, CNE will carry out consultation activities to communicate with companies that intend to bid. It is expected that the final bidding results will be announced in late July to early August.

It is understood that in recent years, Chile has accelerated the pace of development, construction and application of renewable energy power projects. In the renewable energy power bidding project announced in August 2021, Chile signed a renewable energy power contract with a scale of up to 100 million kWh, and the minimum transaction price was about 0.01332 US dollars / kWh.
According to data from the Chilean Renewable Energy Association, up to now, the cumulative scale of photovoltaic power generation in Chile has reached 4.6 million kilowatts.
