Iran starts 150MW photovoltaic cell plant

    Recently, Iranian Mana Energy Pak (MEP Cell) company launched a photovoltaic cell plant in Khomein, western Iran, with an initial annual production capacity of 150MW. Iranian Energy Minister Ali Akbar Mehrabian and other officials attended the opening ceremony of the Complete Solar System For House plant.

    Mehrabian said that the initial annual production capacity of this photovoltaic cell production plant opened in Homeen was 150MW. After the expansion, the annual production capacity will eventually reach 1.5GW.

    It is reported that since the beginning of 2020, Mana Energy Pak has made every effort to build this final annual output of 1.5GW photovoltaic module production plant. The construction is planned to be completed by the end of 2023. The plant will become the first photovoltaic cell production plant in Iran and the Middle East.
