10GW floating floating photovoltaic projects will be built in Asia by 2025
According to industry reports, by 2025, as floating water complete set of solar panel photovoltaic projects continue to attract investors' attention and the investment amount increases, it is expected that an additional 10GW of water photovoltaic projects will be installed.

According to forecasts, in the next five years, there will be approximately 10GW of new floating floating photovoltaic projects built in Asia including China, South Korea, India, and Vietnam.
Although floating water photovoltaic projects can be used for more than 10 years, due to the lack of knowledge and standards in areas such as impacts and restrictions on the surrounding environment, the project will face relatively high various potential risks in the later stage.

As of the end of 2019, the scale of this technology is less than 3GW installed worldwide, accounting for only 1% of the world's total installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation, and the utilization rate is low. However, with the continuous reduction of cost, the continuous success of test projects and the gradual acceptance of investors, the global energy sector will pay more and more attention to this technology and its popularity will also increase.
